Cookbook Fundraiser!
ESMCA has put together a community cookbook to sell at our events as a great way to help with our fundraising efforts. The recipes in these cookbooks were contributed by people in the community. It includes over 170 recipes as well as cooking hints pages such as an equivalency chart, shelf life of foods, measurements and substitutions, and napkin folding just to name a few! These cookbooks will make a great keepsake and a nice gift for those special people in our lives. Here's your chance to get the meatball recipe from Mangia Italia night or those great pancakes from the Pancake Breakfast!
Cookbooks are $15 each.
We will be selling cookbooks at various events
Please check our Events page to see all the events we will be selling our cookbooks at.
If you are unable to attend these events, please email info@esmca.org to reserve a copy.
Thank you for your continued support of ESMCA!
THANK YOU!!!
The ESM Community for the Arts would like to thank its members, school administration, teachers, musicians, and the community for a hugely successful production of West Side Story this past weekend! All the hard work over the past nine months resulted in us reaching our first goal – producing a spring musical. Working together enabled us to ensure we met our goal for the students of ESM and we thank you! This production could not have been possible without the support of the ESM District Administration and School Board who believe in the Arts as much as we do and encouraged our efforts from the very beginning. This production proves that working together for our children can make a difference.
A special thank you to our beloved Mr. Minutillo – a very special person who will always be in our hearts. ESM has been blessed with his talents and his constant devotion to our students and to our school district for over thirty years. He has left an indelible mark on the hearts of so many children and he gave them the wings to grow, and to follow their dreams. We know our children are forever changed for the better because of Mr. Min. Although West Side Story may have been Mr. Min’s last production as a teacher at ESM, what he has created in the hearts of our children as well as the theatre/stage craft curriculum for our district will be a legacy that is ours to keep for now and the future. To the Arts – may they remain in our souls forever!
The ESM Community for the Arts is a not-for-profit, tax exempt organization established in the spring of 2011 to protect and promote the arts in the ESM school district as well as the surrounding community.
With the efforts of the parents and students and the support of our administration, board of education and our community we have achieved great things in a short period of time. Our first goal was to fund a spring musical. West Side Story was staged on March 23, 24 and 25th to a sold out theatre each night. We were so proud of our children and even more proud of the outpouring of support from our great community.
Is there still work to be done? Absolutely! We will continue to strive to restore our production budget to its original status. To date, our administration has proposed a partial restoration of funding to the theatre program for the 2012-13 year ($40,000). An action that demonstrates that they value the role that an arts education plays. We will also pursue enriching all aspects of our arts programs so we can provide our students with important life skills that can be utilized in whatever profession they decide to pursue.
